Privacy policy

Free PDF inspection runs in your browser without an account. Your original PDF, filename, extracted text, decoded objects, file hash and preview pixels are not transmitted during inspection or included in analytics.

Your document stays in memory

Files, inspection results and generated proof files are held ephemerally in the current tab. We do not store or save them to localStorage, IndexedDB, a service worker, server disk, a database or object storage. Replacing a document or closing the tab releases application references. Files you explicitly download are saved by your browser at your direction.

We do not store a customer project for checkout recovery. After a full-page checkout return or reload, select the original file again. Source PDFs are not uploaded for production export until a memory-only transfer policy is authorized; the current customer workflow makes no production-source transfer. Internal export testing uses synthetic fixtures only.

Payments and access recovery

Stripe handles payment details and the checkout email. The shared billing center receives payment confirmation and stores the access plan, status and expiry or remaining uses. The site never receives your full card number.

For access recovery, the billing center stores a one-way keyed hash of the checkout email, not a recoverable email address. Its email provider sends the requested sign-in link. A strictly necessary session cookie remembers your paid access; the PDF inspection tool does not write tracking cookies. The shared checkout helper may store only the return-page path, never your document or inspection contents.

Anonymous analytics

Plausible Analytics provides cookie-free page counts and the fixed events tool_started, tool_completed, pro_previewed, checkout_started and verified paid. Our inspection code sends no document or user payload with task events. Billing events can identify a fixed plan ID. No additional advertising, session-replay or third-party tracking SDK is installed.

Your choices

Inspect a built-in synthetic sample without selecting a customer file. Stop processing by replacing the file or closing the tab. For access-record deletion or privacy questions, email pdfpreflightchecker@vezli.net. Do not attach confidential artwork unless you have separately agreed a support workflow.
